the sun is shining through

Hello and good morning across the interwebs!
Time for another installment of news straight from the presses.
I have been hustling to finish my thesis assignment, ROY G. BIV BOY WONDER. I'm almost there. This week will be the final push before the end of the semester. I'm currently looking forward to a warm bed and a home cooked meal at the end of this tunnel. This week I finally was able to mail out the last of the thank you letters to the wonderful illustrators and art directors I met while in New York this past spring break. I visited NYC for the entire week with a talented batch of artists from CCA led by professor extraordinaire Robert Hunt. You can check out the work of my fellow art maker illustrator friends here !

Since I hadn't printed my promotional mailers yet, I decided to make customized envelope art for each of the people I had to thank on my list. Here are some pictures of a few of the final envelopes!

Hello again world!

Apologies for the lengthy unexplained absence. Since we last chatted, I've been busy building the rest of the images for my thesis, Roy G. Biv Boy Wonder. Here is a sneak peek of some of the work.

Spring break has flown by, and now it's time to git'r dun. I'll keep posting process images for the next few illustrations and photoshoots!

I've been trying to scan and upload a series of images I drew over the summer during a Fashion Illustration course I took at San Francisco City College to keep limber. Here is a sneak peek at some of the images to come soon!

Busy Busy Busy

It's been a whirl of activity this whole month. How is it December all of a sudden? I've finally finished kleeillustration.com, but I'm still working out the kinks. You can check it out here.Yesterday I whipped up this quick sketch for a zine with the Poor Artist's League. It's the first one to come from a great batch of friends, artists, and designers. More news once we publish!
